During President Prabowo Subianto’s diplomatic visit to several Middle Eastern countries such as Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt in early April 2025, the Indonesian diaspora expressed their optimism and high hopes for his leadership. Indonesian students and community members in these countries viewed the President’s visit as a positive momentum for strengthening bilateral relations. Maulidya Nur Islami represented the Indonesian community in Turkey and expressed pride and happiness at the visit, while Muhammad Munirudin and Muhammad Syarif appreciated Prabowo’s personal attention and direct engagement with them. They anticipate that the meeting between the Indonesian and Turkish presidents will pave the way for enhanced cooperation in the future. In Qatar, Rifki Nur Muzaki conveyed enthusiasm on behalf of the Indonesian community, hoping that Prabowo’s visit would serve as a source of inspiration to continue making Indonesia proud. Similarly, the Indonesian diaspora in Egypt welcomed Prabowo’s visit and expressed confidence in its positive impact on education development for Indonesian students in the country. Collectively, members of the diaspora in these nations offered prayers and well wishes for President Prabowo as he embarks on his leadership journey. Since April 9, the President has been engaged in official visits to various Middle Eastern countries, including the United Arab Emirates, Turkey, Qatar, and Egypt.
