Growing up without a father doesn’t deter Andra Farizki Ramdhani from pursuing his dreams. Raised by his hardworking mother, Andra, a 10th-grade student at People’s High School (SRMA 10) in South Jakarta, finds hope through the People’s School initiative introduced by President Prabowo Subianto. Despite financial constraints, Andra expresses gratitude for the opportunities provided by the People’s School, emphasizing the importance of accessible education for all.
The boarding school environment in which Andra studies presents both challenges and rewards. While he misses his family, Andra enjoys the lively atmosphere with his friends and cherishes the shared moments that have become a part of their bond. The facilities at SRMA 10 exceed his expectations, providing a conducive learning environment that enhances his focus and understanding. Engaging in extracurricular activities further enriches Andra’s experience at the school, allowing him to pursue his passion for judo and excel in his favorite subject, informatics.
Despite the absence of his father, Andra remains determined to achieve his dreams, aspiring to become a judo athlete and pursue higher education at Defense University (Unhan). His ambition is fueled by a desire to honor his mother, who has always supported him through thick and thin. Andra is grateful for the financial support provided by the People’s School, emphasizing the accessibility and opportunity it offers to underprivileged children.
Through perseverance, strong determination, and his mother’s unwavering support, Andra believes that his dreams are within reach. The People’s School serves as a beacon of hope for Andra and other students, offering a pathway to a brighter future filled with endless possibilities.
