President of Indonesia, Prabowo Subianto, took part in the Indonesian Science, Technology, and Industry Convention (KSTI) 2025 held at Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB). The event, organized by the Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology in collaboration with ITB, saw President Prabowo visiting various exhibition booths, including Padjadjaran University’s “Flagship Research Products” booth. Innovations like VR Dental Hypnosis and VR for Nurses were showcased at the booth.
After the exhibition tour, President Prabowo entered the Sabuga Hall to address the audience. He greeted members of his Kabinet Merah Putih (Red and White Cabinet), the Governor of West Java, and other distinguished guests. In his opening speech, Prabowo thanked the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, Professor Brian Yuliarto, as the host of the event, along with other government officials and the Rector of ITB.
With the theme “Science and Technology for Economic Growth and Equity,” KSTI 2025 aims to drive national economic transformation through research, science, and technological innovation. The convention is a crucial part of the government’s strategy to strengthen the foundation for Golden Indonesia 2045. KSTI 2025 highlights exhibitions from eight national priority sectors, including energy, defense, digitalization, downstream industry development, healthcare, food security, maritime affairs, and advanced materials and manufacturing.
