Alvaro’s biological mother, Arum, revealed that the murderer of her son, Alvaro Kiano Nugroho (6), who went missing in Pesanggrahan, South Jakarta, had a temperamental nature. The perpetrator of the kidnapping and murder of Alvaro is his stepfather and Arum’s former husband, Alex Iskandar (49). Arum explained that they had been separated for a long time due to Alex’s temperamental personality and inability to accept children. Despite Arum’s decision to leave in April 2024, the perpetrator, whom she married in December 2023, refused to separate and tried to reconnect with the children. Alex had expressed his desire to reconcile, but Arum was firm in her decision due to his inability to accept the children. Furthermore, the perpetrator had made threats in 2024 to abduct Alvaro from Arum, which she initially dismissed as a joke. Alex’s temperamental behavior often resulted in violence, but Arum remained silent about their marital issues. She emphasized that there was no infidelity involved, only the jealousy of her husband. The police later found Alex dead, suspected of suicide, in a counseling room in South Jakarta, following his arrest. Alex, the suspect in Alvaro’s kidnapping and murder case, was buried by his family in TPU Kedaung, Tangerang. The police also provided trauma healing for Alvaro’s family. The authorities revealed that the motive for murdering Alvaro was due to Alex’s jealousy toward his wife.
